A pleasant twist

A pleasant twist

It was mist and mist,

What a wonderful twist,

It was every where pitch gloom,

Even twinkling stars had no room,

Fate and fancy laughed at me,

Alas! It happened, that was not to be

No way ahead, no way to return,

More I did loose, than I could earn,

I wished for break of dawn,

I wished for cool breeze that awaken a fawn,

A shrill call descending from minarets,

Bringing success to our gates,

Chiming bells of a nearby temple,

Loosing knots, making all simple,

That makes the birds to chirp at her full throat,

That brings a new life to a sinking boat,

When sun is mild and sheer mild

When wind is wild and only wild

When wilderness sings a song,

For which all civilizations long,

Which makes everyone spellbound,

Which makes even heaven come to ground

Then something in me also began to burn,

That made me to take a sudden turn,

Myth and myth I could broke,

Harder and harder I could stroke,

The rocks that stood in my way,

I could crush it, out of the day,

Miles and miles I could tread,

What did I write, the whole world read,

When I came out in the street,

Then so many people began to tweet,

With the words, that are only sweet,

They are using for my greet,
