Please, Be My Words

Please, be my words; I know it sounds absurd
But you got my lips moving
Forming sentences—I’m improving
On finding my voice; to speak on my choice
In this case, it’s you.
My words are abundant and I’m not trying to be redundant,
It’s just that…
These words that I match and pair, though not to a snare
Because this isn’t a song—just words—that I want to be you
In my mouth, on my mind;
Different reactions for different action—words.
I want to speak you, piece you together
And break you a part—A grammar lesson I want.
Forming my lips, an infliction of the voice;
My tongue flows with the words that
Pour out of my mouth
Even if you were my words, all you would get is purrs.
Who am I kidding?
You, my words.
Still, I cannot speak to you,
Just stare with wide eyes, amazed at the present time.(poems go here)
