Please Believe Me

I need you to believe

I need you to know I am telling the truth

When I am crying for help

I need you to believe me

When I smile to hide the pain

I need you to see me

Please Believe Me

When I ask if you're okay

Please know it is me asking if I am okay

Please believe me

If I am having trouble with another person

Know that it is because they are hurting me down to my soul

Please believe me

If I sigh in desperation

Know it is hope leaving my body

Please  believe me

When I fall to the floor

Know it is my body refusing my hearts will

Please believe me

That when I try to make the right choices

I put all my soul and mind into it.

Please believe me

When I write this

I am on the last straw

Trying to find someone to help me

Trying to find someone to reach out to me

Trying to find that door that is open

Open to a better place

Please believe me

When I say that I am on my last line of hope

But Also believe, that when I am on my knees

I am giving my all to get back up
