Please Dad, What Will It Take

What will it take?

Your babygirl being shot?

Your son being gunned down?

Fathers have already lost their children,

Their babies,

Gunned down in cold blood

Why?

All for What?

Just to get to keep your firearm?

Think of those who didnt get to live,

Their young lives cut short,

Their last thoughts only of pure terror,

Families torn apart,

Everyone else afraid to go to school,

To go outside,

To enjoy life

Please stop this,

Stop cutting lives short,

We're all afraid,

Please Dad,

What will it take?
