Please don't say good bye

Every spark, Every lapse, Every pulse

I latched on to every word, every phrase

You sent a bottle away saying "I'll see you again one day"

I started to crave your embrace, your essence, your heart

I faded into the gray just like our love

I started to forget what we were

But even worse, who I was

I became the girl who craved the affection that was ripped away from her
