Please let me write

I want to write, please let me write Give me a piece of paper, preferrably white I have no time, so I'll do it at night Yes so many ideas, maybe I just might Need a hand or two, when sharing my sight I want to write, but I'm always in haste I shorten my words, and increase the weight Sometimes what i scribble, expresses hate But if instead I speak, apologies come too late I prefer to scribble, and leave the paper kept I want to write, when my ideas still shine bright Don't touch my pen, unless you want to fight Hand me a plain sheet, help me reach new heights High in the sky, without smoking a single blunt So no cloud nine for me, but what if we had eight I want ti write, but most of my attempts are waste Pieces of my book, are the meal I mostly eat But hopefully I'll smile, and put an end to this head-ache When graphite lessens to words, and my poem is complete So please let me write, when this ink is still wet

I'm mostly here to learn, but every once in a while I'll post a few poems of my own. I love poetry immensely and I'm sure this is the place for me, because I'm sorrounded by people who inspire me
