Please smile

You can't smile anymore

Your skin is cold

And you remain untouched

In a cold room,

You need your camera-

It hasn't been used-

You need your books-

They need to be read to,

I can call Mommy

She can play you something funny,

You can laugh at politicians

And deem them ugly,

You can't smile anymore

And for me that's a problem,

But if your soul can let me know

Hang on tight

We’re coming for you

I hope the casket is warmer

Than the room
