Pleasing Swine
Pleasing Swine
Don't throw your pearls to the swine
If you do, when you do
Know that
The swine won't see your sacrifice
The swine won't see your suffering
The hours, and the time you slaved to please them
Those bootless hours only makes the earth sigh in shame
Because your heart is battered down
Because your pearls have been trampled on
You have to come to one conclusion
Pleasing the unpleasable is unpossible
Free your soul from anguish and leave the swine and ascend to more
Life is but a moment
Remember the days you spent idle in vain
And when you spent your time casting your pearls to the pigs
They laugh at you because you're wasting your worth
Your wasting your days
Live for the pearls rather than the swine
Live for the moments that make wars, famine, and fear disintegrate
Live for the peace
The peace in your soul
The peace you cannot comprise
The peace you get when you keep your pearls rather than when you sew them to the swine.
