Pleasure is a Dream

It was simple to fall in lust

Dwelling in the pleasures of the present musts

To grow up, leave home, then give up

Did our parents raise us from the ground to reach dust?

Did we consider the spilt blood?

During these times, we expect god to forgive us

We're young and we believe that would excuse us

Excuse us for being selfish Because

Desire is human nature something we have no control of

But there's no excuse for the damage

that we tried to avoid and severe ties with

We caused this and it's Ridiculous

How our stubborn minds won't undermine

the harsh fate of limited time

But force us to stray from our kind

Where is god when there's no love?

No care, no regrets and we return once it gets tough

Living goalless lies with the treasured lives they gave up

I’m left in disgust

Please open your eyes,

no open your mind

and find your purpose

Then you'll realize that pleasure is but a dream in this harsh reality

And haven’t we had enough?

Our generation needs to grow up.
