The Pledge of the Twisted Sisters
Every day I tell her how much I care
I make sure that I'm always there
so imagine my shock when she offered me
a free pass out if I wanted to leave.
Thoroughly confused and a little upset
I asked what exactly she had meant
my heart simply broke inside my chest
to hear the words that she uttered next.
She said I could go this could be the end
if I no longer wanted to be her friend
no hurt feelings she understood
the others all left so she thought that I would.
I told her that I would always be there
and without a doubt I’ll forever care
to my response she was taken aback
she never expected a reaction like that.
I reminded her how much she means to me
something I hope she can truly see
and in her best interest and only for that
would I disappear and lose contact.
She said that she didn’t want me to go
and that fact I should always know
I said it was settled that we would be
the twisted sisters for eternity.
