Pocket Monsters
Jack and Jill gone up the hill,
to fetch a pail of water.
Hansel and Gretel enter the forest,
to find their father’s hatchet.
Jack didn’t slip, Jill lost her thrill,
She ran ahead, but Jack caught her.
Hansel needs the hatchet for the harvest,
But he stopped to fix his latchet.
Jill grabbed a bucket to fill,
Jack grabbed a rope, hoping for an otter.
Gretel spies a house of cake, where singing chorused,
Hansel sees the hatchet, so he goes to snatch it
Up from the bucket, came a bag,
Jill grabbed a ball inside, out came a water turtle,
Jack took the bag, and left the pail,
He dropped a ball that let out a flaming lizard.
Hansel sneaks, but appears an old hag,
She says “Honey, please don’t hurtle,”
The Hag laughs with a giggly vale,
She gives them a bag of creatures, a wizard!
Hansel lets loose a creature,
A friendly little chicken of fire
Gretel opens a ball, out comes a gecko
Green and small, its fast feet echo.
Jack and Jill reach the bottom of the hill
Where the forest meets the water,
Jack and Jill lock eyes with Hansel and Gretel
Looks like it’s time for a Pokèmon battle!
