Pockmark the Sun (Deep Water Blues)

The ending

that most wonderful dream

Like all dreams of worth

took place as we were wide awake.

what is left to do?

impediments become meaningless

as I lullaby into complacency

to fight it would be a pockmark for the sun.

a scream inside the ocean.

we can't rewrite the plot.

pilfer a change

for the tides of an endless water

Retrograde each turn toward "us".

Deevolution of the heart...

to the sound of a muted dialogue

Designed to incite

with

passive aggressive pageantry

you sold the promise of Prometheus

that superseded all superstition

I try not to worry/I'm without.

It's not wrong of you.

alibis and accomplices are no longer complicit in the blame
