Poe

What I've Learned From Poetry?

It's a way to express our pain.

Ask a poet, and you'll see,

No line is written in vain.

What I've learned from Poetry?

Words are meaningful & metaphors, strange.

if you take advice from lil 'ol me,

I'd rather take the trampled way.

What I've learned from Poetry,

Is that everyone is different.

While I might hear melancholy,

You might here indifference.

What I've learned from Poetry,

Is there are a plethora of pigments.

Black, White, Grey, & Blue,

And all are highly distinguished.

It doesn't matter where your from,

When a poet's reached your soul.

For score and seven years ago,

I fell in love like Edgar Allen Poe.
