Poe(A boy)A boyA

Poe(A boy)

A boy
A boy was all what I was
Complaining
Whining like a little boy
Do this! Do that!
I couldn't
Because I was a boy
A boy was what I needed not be
Life needed a man
And a man I had to be!
She told me she needed a man not a boy
And a man I had to be!
For life needed me to kill that boy
Being a boy just made everything worse
Being a boy was only gonna end me up six feet under
Being a boy was the greatest mistake I made
Man up!
He told me
To have food on my table I had to be a man
To love I had to be a man
Boys get nothing
Boys get heartbreaks
Boys never finish anything they start
So son if you complaining and whining
About everything nobody gives you
Sorry son! You are still a boy
Man up!
I can't ! I can't!
These are the words of a boy
Boys commit suicide
You need to get those words out of your head
A boy!
Is all you need not be
