Poem #1

He is a
Color
That I have not seen before

Golden
Like his heart
Dark
Like his soul
Brown
Like his eyes

As if
Anything more beautiful
Than the moon
Could exist
There he was,
Outshining her
Every night
With words,
And a heartbeat.

If I could
I would take his color
& paint it all over my world
Every dark crevas
Every gray corner
Every black thought.
Just so
I would not miss him.
& even though
I did this,
I still did.
