Poem

I’ve fallen from a place of grace

Feeling the world moving at a slow pace

There’s no way I can be this miserable in a span of moments

Everything I worked hard for crushes before my eyes

A smoldering smoke covering my throat

And burning my eyes

A suffocating feeling

Unbearable pain

To the point of exhaustion
