When you speak

your tongue

produces words

with heavy meaning

but they come out hallow

and I watch in awe

as they delicately float to the floor

and sink into the carpet

When you breathe

you exhale sharp breaths

and I take them in

they become dull

but I am still fixated

by the way your chest moves

when you release

your razor breaths

your existence

is toxic

your words

are poison

your breath is a dagger

I am suicidal

and you are my escape.
