.....

A few years ago, I had to make a decision

Remain in the hood and risk going to prison

Continue to allow the evil to cloud my vision

Or pick up a pen and become a musician

Ever lyric, every bar, became my ammunition

Became my cocaine;an unbreakable addiction

Without it, I would go insane, so spitting

Is the only remedy for the pain. I pray that you listen

I pray that every quote becomes a velvet rope

Take you out of the ghetto; to rich from being broke

To living your dreams with an infinite amount of hope

So what if you never see me on the television

As long as my thoughts penetrate the composition

You can take the cars, women, jewelry, and all of the money

But you can never take this thing we call .... from me
