A Poem

A poem can be a bore,

Making you want to snore,

Or it can be EXCITING,

Your nails, your teeth are biting.

It  can be long or short,

Or in the middle, like a spork.

It can speak of nature,

Of flowers, or hills, or a purr.

It can talk of weather,

Of rain and snow. Or of a feather.

IT can speak of people, or animals

Of any kind, even that aren't mammals.

You can write a poem about anything,

So grab a pin, sit down, and {think}.
