????

it's always been echoes and dust,

soft spoken lullabies against the pavement.

your promises always broke my trust,

when I hear you say " I love you " it's an overstatement

lately I haven't been able to think straight,

passed out on my bedroom floor under all this weight.

i guess she's just in love with the concept,

of what we could've should've would've.

if things were different.

    in another timeline.

you don't know what you want

So I'll let go of my control.

I'm always scared you'll fall

but you're not.

and I'll bend your words

So they say exactly what hurts.
