A Poem
His face is a like a home
Welcoming and beckoning me
Like a lighthouse standing in a storm
A light in the sea of darkness
Shining a beam of friendship and care
Arms stretching out toward me
Ready to receive me into eternal love
My heart is very glad
Knowing that he will always be mine
His eyes are lanterns, guiding me as I go
Despite all my imperfections
The troubles that I brought when I was born
Sometimes I marvel at the patience he has
And shake my head in amazement
He will always be the rainbow after the storm
