Poem# 99 -Afterlife

The afterlife is where I
want to go.
Where I'd picture leaves
and trees and flowers that
would grow.
Where there would be sunshine
and birds an insects on the ground.
Where I'd lay down on the green
grass with butterflies all around.
Where the pathway would
lead to a well,
and the wind would blow at the sign.
The sign on the wooden arrow,
that was pointing at the wooden
house for me to find.
The afterlife I'd pictured was beautiful.
I wish I would visit it one day.
i'll wait until the time is right,
when it would be time for me
to pass away.

I've made a poetry book at age fifteen and I'm planning on publishing it. I'm starting another poetry book and I'm going to publish this one after I publish the first one. I've fallen in love with poetry. And I want to become a great writer when I grow up. I need all the support I can get. I hope you guys enjoy all my poems.
