Poem Inspiration

There once was a poet

Who wrote

An inspirational poem

Called "Our Generation".

Although most people who read it

Felt defeated,

Until they got to the bottom

And saw they needed

To read it bottom to top

And then they were able to see

Just how cool our generation can be!

This inspired me

To live like the best

And achieve my goals.

To promote the positivity

That this generation holds,

Now that is one of my biggest goals. 

Poems make me feel something

And they let me know

That someone else has been there

Stuck in that dark hole.

I have learned the beauty

Of word and rhyme alike

From reading poems

By writers who are very bright.
