A poem for my daddy

As tears roll down my face

I think of yesterday

and the things I didn't say

Im sorry for the dissapointment

sorry for the heart ach

sorry for letting you down

I remember everything we did

Was it a dream?

No

It was real

You walking through that door

I love you

No matter what

I know I was loved

You were my everything

All I wanted

Was to grow up

but now you are gone

You were strong and brave

so thats what I wanted to be

So as your butterfly wings

begain to flutter

It utters its last words

Never forget
