A Poem From A One sided Love

We kept quiet when we were in class.

Not speaking, only hearing the sounds of our breaths.

Randomly glancing around the class out of boredom catching a glimpse of another pair of eyes.

Suddenly turn away awkwardly shy.

The ice broke as I spoke softly about class to him.

He smiled and explained cunningly swell.

I shyly swept my hair with the tip of my fingers to the back of my ear.

He kept talking, sweet and clear.

Wanting to see him laugh and smile.

I wanted him to be comfortable around me.

Giving him some space I was friendly and sweet.

Until I couldn't endure it anymore.

It's been a couple months we talked.

He told me that there was a girl interested in him, but he was not interested in her.

Because he was in love with another.

We chatted more and I pushed my feeling aside because I rather be his friend.

He loved someone, but that someone was not me,

as I watched cowardly,

in my heart, I was crying.
