Of the Poet
She belongs to the Poet
She was His creation
Of Clay then Flesh
He sucked the words from her mouth,
The flesh from her bones
The meat of her soul
She does not belong to herself
She was His Creation
He nurtured her
Cow to slaughter
A Child, blind
Enlightened and enthralled
By Fire
She could not leave Him,
For how does a human depart from God?
