All around the world people search for their meaning

For poets, I can give the clarification they’ll be needing

This is what it means to be a poet:

It means that you are a wizard with words.

You can light up a crowd with expecto patronum.

Your word choice leaves them blinded when you’re done.

You’re magic is just too strong too bright to powerful.

Being a poet means you are a doctor of expression.

Every poetic decision is an incision

On the heart of your listener, you’re a life saver.

Words can be as sweet as candy,

Or as serious as a heart attack,

But once said there is no going back.

The world is shocked by your propensity for poetic intensity

Never allowing anyone to stay CLEAR of your message

In so reviving the just in society.

Being a poet means that you are being yourself.

Mr. Top of the line, top of the charts, top of the shelf

There are no limits to what you can reach.

In every speech you teach those around you,

Your lesson is to show no shame in who you are.

Those who don’t learn may try and put you down,

But you have no fear in your tears.

They are not droplets of weakness

But the liquid form of your struggles, message, and cares.

You never let your message drown

In any sea of insignificant laughter.

You listen to each laugh, and after,

You become more creative, innovative, mamma we made it!

And never allow your voice to be silenced.

Because you’re a wizard, a doctor, and yourself.

You’re a poet. And you know it. Know let the world know.
