<p>Hello mentor-</p><p>I was really inspired to write this haiku. After hurricane sandy, my friends and classmates lost family and homes. I really felt sorry and I heard about this poem scholarship where i could write about this loss. I want it to show people that there are people like me who are willing to help and support the ones who lost their homes and families because of the storm.
