Poetic Teachings

Words flow from my pencil.

Feelings flow from my heart.

A simple pattern forms from my mind.

A simpler pattern forms from my feelings.

Who is to say what makes me "right?"

Who is to say what makes me whole?

Me.

I am the one who knows what makes me "right."

I am the one who knows what makes me whole.

My mind races with dreams.

A craft shop.

A bakery.

A design firm.

A place to paint in peace.

A person who loves me for who I am.

Why should I let this society crush these wonderous thoughts?

There is no reason.

Rebell!

I will become what I dream!

I will achieve what I dream!

I am me, and I have a choice.

I can stand still, or I can RISE!
