POETREE
I planted a tree on top of the world.
Shading in everything that seems broken and torn.
But no amount of light I feed it.
It seems to only thrive when I've been cryin.
Shoulders aching from the weight of the Earth.
Been like this since birth.
If I was destined to plant this tree.
Then I'll do everything from within me,
To keep the shadows at bay and
To set the pain free.
Here I planted this tree.
Ontop of what had pained me.
I'm no longer in need of this heartache.
Because I know what could have been at stake.
