Poetry 101

The day I saw paper is the day I saw myself.

The day I saw a pen is the day I saw my dreams.

The day I saw a pencil is the day I saw no flaws.

The lines are to cross.

The holes are to fill.

The back is to complete.

Every idea began as a write up.

Every art piece began as a sketch.

Every lyric began as a disconnected phrase.

Without ink to paper, we are all the same.
