What is poetry, and what does it mean to me?
I will tell you, and it will be the honest truth.
On days I am sad, or insanely mad,
Rather than react in ways I'll regret,
I put it all down on paper with a pen.
So next time I feel like I'm in an emotional state,
I'll remember this pledge, and write on a clean slate.
