Poetry

I want the words to roll off your tongue

How do you truly feel about me?

I’ve dreamt about you sitting at your desk

Writing feverishly

The pencil lead breaking under the pressure of your hand

I want to see your heart pour onto a blank page

As I do for you

The desire to feel the emotions in your words

Consume my soul

I want to read our memories through the lettering of your steady hand

I am left needing to know so much

How does it feel when you kiss my lips?

Does the taste set your heart on fire or leave you wanting more?

Darling, show me your heart while expressing the colours of your mind
