poetry

Poetry. It changes you.

It tears you from your despair and saves you.

It exchanges your grief for relief

Your fears for freedom

Poetry. It changes you.

Anything and everything that’s been locked up all these years.

Poetry unlocks the safe and out poor the tears

Let it out.

Let it stream down your face

Let the steam clear from this place

Poetry. It changes you.

I’m flying. You’re flying.

We’re free

Poetry. It changed us.
