Poetry

I should turn you into poetry, 

but you deserve more than

half truths and half lies

that most poetry consist of. 

You deserve to be more than my poem, 

more than my muse

that I think of every now and again. 

You deserve this, us, the reality of now, 

and not some fictionalized version of us.
