Poetry

With poetry there is power, 

the power to explain. 

The words I could not,

would not dare to say a loud. 

Every line has emotion.

Every line breathes a breath of life. 

The hidden words I locked away

have now risen on a single page. 

Poetry is a silent friend

that takes in every word. 

With poetry comes a swift of life. 

It takes away the pain. 

Poetry is not merely a sense of writing, 

but a way of communication. 

Poetry brings out the voice inside 

that I never knew I had.
