Poetry

Poetry is freedom.

I love when it rhymes,

though it seems forced sometimes.

Free verse is fun

if you want to let your thoughts just flow.

I have artistic freedom to make up words.

Punctuation is optional

and commas are sparse

though ap'str'phes oft' make their mark

I'm glad I have the expressive power of poems.

Maybe next time I'll write about an orange.
