Poetry

Don’t just Open yours eye.

And don’t just look or see

Don’t just Open your mouth

And say or to be heard

But open your soul to picture and to listen to the words.

They could open up a whole new mindset

Make you feel like you aren’t alone.

Chicken noodles soup was always there for that 15 year old girl trying to find a friend or trying to figure out why boys just didn’t like her.

And when she opened her soul and became a woman she discovered that new world.

Maya reminds me everyday that I’m a phenomenal woman phenomenally.
