Poetry

Poetry you're sweet but yet tasteless

to the deceit

poetry you're my light in the midst of the rainbow and beyond the shadows in the dark

Poetry you taught me how to be me

to express myself in this standardized society

the misconception of you, to be mischievous,to deceive, to make you believe my words are true

poetry I refrain from being lost to your concept

poetry you are a literary work in the making

poetry I can't seem to let you go

poetry listen! Hear me out!

I APPRECIATE YOU.

the L's I've thought I took were only lessons to you

poetry you're my ambition

poetry you understand me as a young adolescent

poetry you allow for me and statement to be heard

Loud and Clear!

Poetry you've provided me a home

this particular home is where I feel that i belong

poetry you have helped me understand what most cannot seem to comprehend

I totally agree with Christine E.Hemp

She states''Poetry is a marriage of creation and imagination''

poetry you're my shoulder to cry on

 my best friend

you cant be replaced

I'll forever remember you always.
