Poetry

See between the lines that dance across the page Waves of inky hope springing from the pen I swim through them and drink them and breathe them Then I read them over and over again So I can absorb the words through my skin, Into my mind, my heart, and in my soul At the depths of my pain I climb onto them, A long, literary latter lifts me to a place, Where at last my mind can be at peace.
