Poetry

The words flow like honey

Each drop containing an antidote that soothes an arching soul

The words pour out of my heart  into a lake of lines

That washes every gloomy thoughts away

Allowing me to see the sun in the rain

This lake leads to a river of stanzas

That can rock the restless into a peaceful sleep

And takes away the weights that society gives me

Finally leading to the ocean of poems

Each poem cradles me as I stagar down the path of life

Making every step forward worthwhile
