To Poetry

The artful poetry is

Impalpable you see.

Swifter than Mercury

And lovelier than Venus,

Much can be said for poetry.

Poetry, oh poetry,

Thou is like a flower,

Blooming in the poet’s hand

And possessing such a power.

Poetry has taught me much;

To grow and learn and be.

It’s given me encouragement

To unlock all of my dreams.

Much can be said for poetry.
