A poem is the antecedent process before creation, The beginning of the true power of creativity. A great mind like Einstein, Would read a poem to calm the nerves. The words of Sylvia Plath spark horrors in our head, Ripping and tearing the deepest feeling from out soul. Only to help us become more empathetic, To possible change the world. The spoken power of Ishmael Reed, Can have the world come to us. But finally my true reason. The power of music. Comes from the words of others. The great operas of Mozart would never had happened, Unless the words were present. The greatest Schubert songs, Gone, if the words were not present. Poetry, the artist world runs on it, Like a person needs water.
