Poetry and What it can do

Poetry shot me

It taught me

To be me

To reach

For the stars

And to Live

With my Scars

This is me

It’s who I was meant to be

I no longer see myself

Not as a whole

But as a part

Part of something bigger

Bigger than myself

Everyone Else

So what does poetry do.

It makes you think

Read

Feel

Grow

Love

Hate

And most of all

Heal
