Poetry To Generosity

I guess poetry/

Like so many things flow in me/

from the heart to the brain to the mouth/

Coming out as speech with potency/

Now my selfish desires want me to sin/

But the poetry helps me to defend/

Other people from my poisonous palabras,

no habla unless you have something nice to say is what my mother taught/

So a pen and pad is what I bought,

to keep the evil from leaking out onto others, no

with the pen I'll shout

So that the speech that comes out of my filthy mouth

is full of generosity.
