Poetry Has Taught Me...

To enjoy the little things

To observe the serenity nature brings

For the words of a poem are like a waterfall

They beckon me with their unique call

It has taught me to stay determined

Even when the light of hope was dimmed

To reach out to others struggling from the obstacles ahead

Since our lives are nothing more than a delicate thread.
