Poetry Helps

Bottled up thoughts

Spinning with words

Kept inside, I can’t help but hurt

Keep your mouth shut

Is what they say

Words can’t define you anyway

But the thoughts spill out

On paper with pen

Freeing my soul from the chaos within

Sharing the struggle

with words unspoken

Poetry has fixed the little girl left broken
