Poetry is my haven.

Poetry is my everything.

I write to live.

I live to write.

I breath poetry.

I eat poetry.

I live poetry.

Taking it away from me,

Is like talking away my breath.

You would take away my thoughts,

You would steal away my will,

You would plunder my emotions,

You would trample my faith,

You would kill me.

Poetry is my savior.

Poetry is my light that shines through the dark.

Poetry just is.
