Poetry to Me

Having no one to talk to, I wrote to myself; writing down my feelings and thoughts, went through half of my life thinking that me writing was a scape goat, but then I found out it had a name, POETRY. Poetry to me is my own world, where everything goes my way; there are no people, just my words and me, my words they are a freedom beyond belief, within myself, the world, and my mind, POETRY. Poetry to me is a friend that listens to my problems, solves them and even helps me; it is my own thoughts, telling me how to feel, what to recognize with my eyes and thoughts, that is POETRY. But, as a friend of poetry, it is important that I feed her my thoughts, for it lives off of it, without thoughts, feelings, and mindsets.... there would be no poetry; for my internal thoughts are poetry, my message; but, I am the poet , the interpreter of my thoughts.
