Poetry Is Me

The words you can't say because of fear The rude truth of life that cause those tears The lives taken because of what? The absence of the soul is the deepest cut Music today only displays The crazy, sinful life they wish to portray If I told you there's a way to understand Reading along is just like holding my hand You see poetry is the soul The music that flows The energy connection you create For peace & love for your lifes sake The feeling of hope that people feen That little message that lies between See this is my Declaration Of Independence can't you see Things like this unite people like you and me So you ask what's poetry to me? Poetry is you Poetry is me
